well, it would take a very specific kind of fictional setting to allow that to happen with no ground or naval combat. I think the problem with "aerial titles that aren't in space" is that. If a future / current developer see this, you have something to dig ! Not released yet, historical title with aircrafts. Every nations would have a particular design concerning their ships (such as Crimson skies/princess and the pilot), and have special air units.Ģnd edit : the closest title seem to be : "Task force admiral". Let us imagine a "fantasy" or steam punk world where all the big powers mastered the skies. This way, there can be no aircraft only gameplay, but also naval and land combat. I think that the major problem is that we can't get out of our "earth reality" when it is about modern warfare, and when it isn't in space.
